CanJam SoCal 2026 — See You in Room 203

As CanJam SoCal gets closer, we wanted to share a few updates before the show.

This year, you’ll find Layer Audio Design in Room 203, alongside MSB and Audio-Technica. Also on display in the room will be the MSB Cascade DAC and Audio-Technica NARUKAMI.

If you’re attending CanJam SoCal, definitely stop by Room 203 and give everything a listen.

A Few New Projects

Alongside the GEN-300B, we’ll also be bringing a few new projects we’ve been working on for an early preview at CanJam SoCal.

DAC Prototype

We'll have a working prototype of our upcoming DAC available for listening.

The current prototype features Lundahl transformers in the analog output stage, part of the design we’re exploring.

The DAC is still in the prototype stage, and the final design and specifications may evolve. CanJam SoCal offers a chance to hear the project in its current form and get an early sense of its direction.

New Power Cable & Grounding System

We’ll also be bringing two new developments: our new power cable with a dedicated grounding system, and a new grounding box developed alongside it.

The cable and grounding box are designed to work together as a complete system, with the grounding box providing a dedicated grounding path. However, the grounding box can also be used with other suitable grounding points in an audio system.

We'll publish a separate post later about this system.
